HUNT TEST INFORMATION
Utah Bird Dog Training currently runs dogs in Hunt Tests sponsored by the American Kennel Club (AKC) and American Pointing Labrador Association (APLA). If you have a dog that you would like to get titled in these events, we can help. We have taken dogs to the Master Level in both organizations. Typically, depending on what title you are wanting your dog to achieve the training can take longer to achieve the results desired in a hunt test. We do not guarantee that your dog will pass each event that the dog participates in, but we will do everything we can in training to help the dog have the greatest chance of success when it participates in these events. We run our hunt test dogs in Utah and the surrounding states at the different tests put on by these organizations. If you want to get your dog titled, let us know and we would be happy to help your student accomplish the desired titles in their gun dog career!
Pricing
Owner is responsible for all entry fees associated with each test.
Handling dog for each test per day is a $50.00 handling fee.
Owners are responsible for travel expenses associated with taking dog to tests for trainer.
Travel and trainer's expenses will be divided up between dogs on the truck going to the hunt tests at the various locations.
