Starting Age:
6 months of Age and Older                                                                                                       Time Frame: 2 months
This training is designed to give you a hunting dog that is ready to take hunting and has the basic control and bird work to do so.  The difference from the basic training to the foundation training is the complete obedience training and we don't clean up or do anything with the retrieve. We will try to encourage a natural retrieve, but the dog will just do what it does naturally when it comes to retrieving . With the basic gun dog we just teach, kennel, here and whoa. We do a proper bird and gun introduction, we get the dog hunting and pointing nice and then shoot birds over the dog in mixed terrains.  The dog will be ready to hunt and have the experience and basic control to do so.

Starting Age:
6 months of Age and Older                                                                                                       Time Frame: 4 months
This program is really designed to give you the finished family gun dog. The dog will have all of the obedience trained for being around the home and a great family dog. With the foundation training we also clean up the dog's retrieve and develop the retrieve for the dog to deliver the bird to hand. The foundation training just gives you a nice all around pointing and retrieving dog that is ready for the field and enjoyable to have around the home.
