If dog will be hunting upland game at the end of its training plan on about $200.00 to $250.00 dollars worth of birds to be shot over your dog. That will usually be about 20 pheasants or other chosen upland game birds. This gives your dog a real good head start on its hunting career.
If extra birds are needed to help your dog go further in its training the owner will be responsible for the birds. Your dog during its training at no charge will receive tons of bird work with dead pheasants, ducks and chukar . If you plan on hunting upland with your dog I recommend that its last month of training we shoot a handful of whatever upland game specie you plan on hunting with your gun dog. This will help take your dog to the next level and solidify its training. Prior to purchasing birds for your dog we will consult with you about how many birds we recommend putting up in front of your dog. Obviously, the more birds the better! We recommend a minimum of 20 or more shot birds over your dog to get your dog your dog some real hunting exposure. At the end of the training we like to shoot birds with the owner over the dog, so the owner can see the dog in a real hunting situation.
