We love our gun dogs and bird hunting, but we are also avid big game hunters and in the off season enjoy finding sheds with our dogs and keeping them in shape for the coming fall hunts. Shed hunting can be hard work, but with a well trained shed dog, you can find more sheds and have more fun with your hunting companion at your side. Shed hunting with dogs has recentley become very popular as it is fun and can actually be profitable with the prices of antler's going up. In general, retrievers or dogs that enjoy packing things around are the best dogs to train for Shed hunting.
