 At Utah Bird Dog Training, we are dedicated to developing the finest bird dogs in the country. In addition to our hunting training, we do just OBEDIENCE TRAINING  for man's best friend. Obedience training is part of a hunting dogs solid foundation.  We take dogs above and beyond just obedience, but we also realize that not everyone hunts or our hunter friends have friends with dogs that have need of solid obedience training. If you are looking for just OBEDIENCE training we are here to help. We have trained pretty much all the major breeds and popular cross breeds. We are usually thousands cheaper and feel we are more thorough than most. Our obedience training is a two month program which really gives the dog lots of practice and helps give you a more confident animal with all the training and practice that it receives.

We love seeing dogs we trained in the field and just geek out over good hunting dogs. No matter if you're a pointer or retriever guy we can get the job done. The above short clip is one of our dogs named CREEK that finished our "Complete Retriever" training program.  This was just her third duck hunt. If you have ever dreamed of having an amazing bird dog, we are here the help make that a reality.
In addition to training dogs for our clients we have our own small breeding program where we strive to produce some of the best Labrador Retrievers and Field Bred Golden Retrievers that the country has to offer. We get to train and evaluate many of the puppies from our litters and so we feel it gives us a special insight on breeding and how to make the best gun dogs that we can. If you are looking for a nice hunting retriever either be a lab or a golden we would hope that you would consider one of our pups. If they do not make the cut, we do not keep them in our program, we want a dog you can be proud of that will not only be healthy, but will get the job done like its supposed too.
